So in our previous blog we discussed what SPIRE stands for and now I want to give you a bit of what SPIRE is about. The SPIRE Model is a methodological approach to leading teams through coaching techniques while working on project-based and task-based activities. As we talked about before SPIRE is an acronym which stands for Setup, Perform, Inspire, Review, Empower.

The model is based on the “40 – 30 – 30 equation”. It describes the process, time, energy and commitment needed for the creation of an effective team, the achievement of its goals and the development of its members.

40% Set up: Bring the team to life…

This is the most important phase and you and your students will spend most of the time on this part of the equation.

30% Perform and Inspire: Project work / Team work…

Although equally important this part is used to develop and create and shared time is spent with the next phase.

30% Review and Empower:  Assessment and Performance Improvement

Although this is listed last it does not mean that this is the final phase or part of the equation as you will review and have students access themselves through the whole process.

If you would like to learn more about how the SPIRE Model can change the way you teach task or project based tasks or If you would like to learn more about Coaching.

Then you are invited to the launch of “SPIRE” it is a model that has been designed to help teachers develop team work, project class management, student’ life competencies and entrepreneurial mindsets.

This webinar is happening on Tuesday December 12, 2023 from 3-4 Rome Standard Time.
